Dedicated Poem:

This poem accompanies the artwork, weaving together the heavy stillness and blurred edges of early grief—a landscape where denial settles like dust and tension crackles beneath the surface, foreshadowing the fierce energy yet to come.

In the suffocating stillness after thunder’s retreat,

denial forges its mute barricade—

a brittle, desperate shield

against the relentless, gnawing void

of your absence, saturating every breath.

Emotions unravel violently,

torn from their anchors,

hovering at the precipice of truth,

while reality dissolves—

a warped, unreachable landscape

where time itself is suspended,

aching for footsteps

that will never echo again.

Beneath this brittle calm,

the air thickens with dread—

a storm of tension coils in the darkness,

raw, volatile, electric—

as if the earth itself clenches its fists,

bracing for the inevitable rupture

that will shatter the silence

and lay bare the wound beneath.
